Direct Therapy Responsibilities
- Provide quality one-on-one instruction to clients with developmental delays in communication, social, play, and adaptive skills.
- Implement individualized and group programs that develop social, language, life, and academic skills.
- Conduct behavioral therapy according to clinical guidance and supervision standards.
- Administer behavioral drills and therapy sessions in clinic and home settings.
- Collect data, prepare summaries, maintain therapy notes, and organize client records.
- Encourage communication and appropriate social interactions.
- Maintain a structured and productive therapy environment.
- Graph client data and maintain updated records.
- Assist with assessments, instruction, and communication for enrolled clients.
- Record objective daily data reflecting client progress toward goals.
- Maintain accurate daily session notes.
- Create, assign, and maintain program goals, milestones, and associated tasks.
Team Responsibilities
- Attend all required meetings and trainings.
- Respond to emails, phone messages, and other communications within 24 hours.
- Regularly report client outcomes to supervisors and families.
- Update team members regarding client and family status.
- Adhere to company policies and professional standards.
- Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors.
- Organize meetings, agendas, attendee lists, calendar invitations, and meeting summaries.
- Lead client team meetings to review treatment plans and support staff and caregivers.
- Attend IEP, IFSP, and transition meetings to present progress and recommendations.
- Consult with parents and school personnel in person, by phone, or virtually.
- Identify and coordinate content experts and guest speakers.
- Facilitate discussions, activities, public outreach, and training events.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Provide coverage for staff callouts when needed.
- Summarize client progress and audit session notes.
- Monitor clinic inventory and materials.
- Enter goals and programs into electronic platforms.
- Assist with scheduling parent training sessions and team meetings.
- Review clinical notes submitted by staff.
- Design and oversee ABA treatment programs for clients with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
- Design program materials and staff training resources.
- Assess client treatment needs and develop measurable goals and objectives.
- Prepare initial assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Assist with intake assessments and direct therapy sessions as needed.
- Support programming, parent training, and treatment plan development.
- Provide weekly parent communication when parent training does not occur.
- Provide additional coaching and support to clinic staff.
- Administer, conduct, evaluate, and supervise assessment measures.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, goals, and objectives.
- Develop and implement group programs.
- Update electronic records, review programming, and communicate treatment updates to team members.
- Ensure effective behavioral data collection systems are implemented and maintained.
- Collect, graph, analyze, and discuss data-based client progress.
- Interview and hire Behavior Technicians.
- Train staff on treatment plans, instructional programs, behavioral procedures, and data collection systems.
- Ensure therapy materials are created or obtained in a timely manner.
- Provide ongoing support and mentorship to Behavior Technicians.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and career development meetings.
- Lead staff training initiatives.
- Assist with policy development and implementation.
- Recruit, interview, train, and manage behavior instructors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Reports directly to the Clinical Director.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Behavior Analysis, Behavior Science, Human Development, Social Work, Rehabilitation, or a related field.
- Must possess Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification issued by the BACB.
- Valid CPR certification required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Minimum of four years of experience working with individuals with special needs.
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
- Successful completion of criminal history background checks.
- Experience administering assessments such as VB-MAPP, Vineland, ABLLS, and AFLS.
- Knowledge of DTT, NET, VB, FCT, and RIT methodologies.
- Proficiency with computers and familiarity with Google Workspace.
- Bilingual Spanish language skills are a plus.
