Kids Food Art Café
A hands-on program where youth build confidence through cooking, creativity, and connection.
The Kids Food Art Café is a structured, supportive program for ages 10–17 that combines cooking skills with food photography to make learning engaging and accessible.
Kitchen Confidence:
Students learn safety, nutrition basics, and how to follow multi-step recipes independently.
Creative Expression:
Food photography and styling help youth explore creativity and build visual storytelling skills.
Social Connection:
A low-pressure environment encourages teamwork, flexible thinking, and problem-solving with peers.
We emphasize the “why” behind every recipe, helping students connect food, health, and everyday wellness in meaningful ways.
Building Independence:
By the end of the program, students leave feeling more confident, capable, and independent in the kitchen and beyond.
Creative Solutions
We connect creativity with real-world environmental problem-solving through hands-on learning.
Creative Solutions is a hands-on program for students in grades 3–8 that transforms ideas like environmental sustainability and upcycling into meaningful, actionable art projects.
Resourceful Artistry:
Students use upcycled and biodegradable materials to create art that reflects environmental responsibility and problem-solving.
Teamwork & Innovation:
Small group collaboration builds communication skills, entrepreneurship thinking, and creative problem-solving for real-world impact.
Hands-on Exploration:
Complex environmental topics are taught using plain-language instruction and interactive, engaging activities.
We emphasize the “why” behind every project so students understand the purpose behind their creative decisions and their impact on the world around them.
Community Impact:
By the end of the program, students showcase their work and share the innovative steps they’ve learned to become changemakers in their community.

STEAM in the Garden
We connect science, technology, engineering, arts, and math to real-world environmental learning through seasonal, hands-on experiences.
STEAM in the Garden is designed for students in grades 6–12 to help them understand how interdisciplinary skills work together to build sustainable systems and stronger communities.
Fall – Systems and Soil:
Students explore decomposition by building compost systems from repurposed wood, including compost bins and compost tea brewers, turning organic waste into usable garden resources.
Winter – Engineering and Warmth:
Students design and build lean-to style greenhouses, learning engineering and design principles that protect plant life during colder months.
Spring – Community and Growth:
Students create community-focused projects such as lending libraries, garden boxes, and DIY bokashi compost systems that support sustainable growth and shared learning spaces.
Resourceful Innovation:
Across all seasons, students practice resourcefulness by transforming everyday materials into functional or creative builds, reinforcing that innovation is driven by creativity, not excess resources.
